Available position / Technical Sales Representative

The successful candidate possesses a strong technical background enabling him to quickly understand the manufacturing processes involved and the operating principles of the required machinery. Experience in sales of converting machinery, printing equipment, textile machinery and packaging equipment would be an asset. He listens to the customer and offers him a suitable solution that perfectly matches his needs. We are looking for someone dynamic, creative, professional and results-oriented who will be able to demonstrate intrapreneurship.

The candidate will be required to visit clients occasionally (15-25% of the time) in Quebec, Canada and the United States.

Main responsibilities: 

  • Manage the sales process.
  • Contact prospects and develop new customers and markets.
  • Follow-up with customers using the CRM.
  • According to the preliminary requests of the customer, define the necessary equipment to meet their needs.
  • Visit the installation locations, as required.
  • In collaboration with the Engineering Team, review the technical requirements and establish a sales price.
  • Prepare preliminary drawings and bids. Answer questions and provide technical feedback.
  • Complete all follow-ups with the customer in order to close the sale;
  • Negotiate and conclude sales contracts according to the company policies;
  • Participate in product development;

Requirements:

  • Min 5 years of experience as a Technical Sales Representative
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the industrial sector
  • Dynamic and energetic personality
  • Be motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills who can sell integrated solutions and manage industrial and commercial priorities.
  • Perfect bilingualism (French and English)
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
