Your responsibilities :
Under the supervision of the production supervisor, based on a reading of 2D and 3D plans, you must:
- Analyze and interpret welding symbols and geometric dimensions
- Prepare parts to be welded and carry out welded mechanical assemblies
- Master and perform welding methods in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical) using MIG on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum (TIG is an asset)
- Assemble components of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems according to plans and diagrams
- Take part in the installation or repair of equipment at customer sites
- Contribute to supporting the activities of other departments
- Be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and the cleanliness of the workspace
Profile skill
- (DEP) in Welding-Assembly or any other related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Ability to read 2D and 3D plans and interpret symbols
- Proficient in MIG (GMAW) and Flux-Cored (FCAW) welding
- Experience in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics [or training in industrial mechanics (an asset)]
- Organized and autonomous
- Methodical and detail-oriented in work
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to operate a forklift and overhead cranes
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with a 3-day weekend!
Type of welding: MIG steel 95–98% of the time, occasional MIG aluminum and TIG stainless steel.
