Automatic 3 Drum Surface Winder This series of machines are two (2) position, three (3) roll, surface driven automatic winders. The drive trim signal is coupled through a load cell transducer tension control unit. System operation is automatic with PLC initiation for continuous operation. Automatic system control is included for roll transfer, flying knife, splicing sequences and general operation. This machine can handle heavy weight kraft paper or Nonwovens and wind it into finished rolls at a controlled tension and density. The finished rolls will be doffed to a pivoting platform for unloading. > Download Specification Sheet Single Position Single position unwind with automatic edge guide system and tension control can handle 3000 lbs rolls. Dual Position Uncoiler Dual position uncoiler, specially designed for the foil industry, can handle 10 000 lbs rolls and is equipped with a manual splice table. Floor Pick-up This floor pick-up unwind allows accurate unwinding of large rolls. It can operate at speeds as high as 4,000 FPM and handle rolls up to 20,000 lbs. 2 Drum Surface This textile shafted 2 drum surface winder is equipped with adjustable side guides. Roll dumping and density control top rider roll can be added as options. Open Frame Turret This open frame turret winder can handle 55” (4500 lbs) rolls up to 1200 FPM. It is equipped with a fully automatic flying splice mechanism, pneumo-hydraulic guiding system and dancer tension control system. > Download Specification Sheet Phantom Axis Turret This phantom axis turret winder is equipped with the following: pull roll section, score edge trim, offset pivot guide and triple lay-on roll mode of operation. It can operate with the lay-on roll, disengaged, pressure controlled or in minimum gap mode. The latest technology is used to control the winder, through AC Vector drives, PLC and user friendly MMI. The toughest materials can be cut on the fly using our revolutionary back-knife support system (patent pending). Linear Displacement This Linear Displacement Winder is perfect for tension sensitive materials such as; Foam, Nonwovens and Paper. This machine will automatically wind material at a preset tension value and discharge the finished roll. This machine can also be equipped with inline slitting and automatic core loading through a feeding hopper. Unwind Cut-to-lenght This unwind cut-to-length consist of a single position floor pick-up unwind with a pneumatic servo driven positioning and stacking system. A motorized cross cutting system provides a repeatable and accurate cut each time. This application is ideal for cutting nonwovens and textile materials. Narrow Web Cantilevered A three spindle cantilevered winder with individual pneumatic clutch control at each spindle will assure a repeatable constant tension pattern from roll to roll regardless of cross web caliper variation. This winder is equipped with razor slitting and tension feedback through a transducer roll. Salvage Winder This Salvage Winder can take misaligned rolls through an edge guide system and rewind with a controlled tension pattern.
